Expected format

Aesthetics get Synthetic: Knowledge Link through Art and Science format is designed to integrate imagination, opinion forming and discussion. By exploiting and developing original means of public science communication, stakeholder engagement and their analysis.

The following program had been outlined for the kick-off days:
• Introductory presentations
• Science & Humanities talks (podcasts available online)
• Round table discussions (podcast available online)
• Art exhibitions + artist presentations
• Guided tours for the general public through the exhibitions.

And additionally:
• Publication of programmed speeches/proceedings (online) will include presentations of the basic principles of Synthetic Biology, short interviews, papers and discussions as in a high-level interdisciplinary scientific conference. Generating multimedia content as well as written documentation for future use.
• Webpage, multimedia databases and social media: documenting conferences and activities, as well as to supporting connections and professional networks.
