Agnes Meyer-Brandis and Alex de Vries at RuG

Two weeks of busy and ingenious collaboration. KLAS Artist-in-Residence at the RuG Molecular Dynamics group

Dr. Alex de Vries is one of the fathers of the Martini force field for the GROMACS software suite. Martini is a coarse-grain force field. It is suited for molecular dynamics simulations of biomolecular systems. Martini is versatile and can be used to simulate a large variety of systems.

For the last two weeks he has been interacting with artist Agnes Meyer-Brandis [ffur.de]. The German KLAS awardee took no time to set-up her Office for Tree Migration in the outstanding location of the Groningen Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology Institute at the Zernike Campus of the University of Groningen (RUG).

Their simulations are running and we are looking forward to seeing the results!
